pettygrind เขียน:I've been experiencing some severe itching down there that comes and goes but is fairly consistent. I went to an urgent care and they tested me for BV, Herpes, Trich, and a Yeast infection. The doctor said he suspected it was BV and prescribed me antibiotics but I waited to take them until I heard back about the tests. All my tests came back negative but I still have this itch. I was on my period at the time of the tests though. Should I just go ahead and take the antibiotics he prescribed? Help! I have had a full panel STD test in the past year and have only had protected sex since. Thanks.

If it is up high in the vagina then it can be a bacterial population that is out of whack, or inflammation from sex or contact exposures (like condoms, spermicide, the cleanser that your partner uses...). If the itching is mostly at the outside--the vaginal opening and labia--then you can add skin conditions to the mix. Like eczema, lichen sclerosis, or other inflammatory conditions. It sounds like you've already had a lot of testing done and you are confident that you do not have a STI. So next I would:
