There is no adapter that needs to be disabled. about "obtain dns server address automatically" does it get DNS from VPN service aumatically when connected to VPN or it keeps DNS from my ISP forever like iOS devices?

For a while now I’ve noticed that my internet connection is interrupted every time I bring the computer out of sleep mode. It’s not limited to one browser, but all running cloud services fail to connect as well. It takes about a minute to resolve, so it doesn’t seem like a serious problem but I do wonder why this is happening now when it wasn’t before. I chalked it up to the shitty internet connection in my previous home but it’s still happening in my new home, with my new provider.

Searching for the error only turns up solutions for people who have the error result in a nonfunctional internet connection, but mine works fine after the page refreshes after that error. I just want it to work fine without having to wait a minute every time I bring my computer out of sleep mode. Does anyone know what’s going on here? This is Win7, by the way.
